The studios might be closed but our creative hearts are open, as they have been for 75 years.

Marlow, UK, 26 October 2020 – Sennheiser strives to give you something that will stand the test of time. In honour of our 75th anniversary we want to share with you some of the greatest Sennheiser headphones to grace the world of sound from the HD 820 to the HD 660S. Each headphone offers its own version of the world-renowned Sennheiser sound.

The closed-back dynamic duo HD 820 and HDV 820

The only thing that can make the world class HD 820 headphones even better, is the HDV 820 digital headphones amplifier. As part of our 75th anniversary celebrations, we brought these two products together to give Sennheiser fans the ultimate home listening experience.

The HD 820 brings not only a unique look but unique technology, the visually striking glass covers reflect the sound waves from the rear of the transducer to an absorber, which results in minimal resonance. Paired with the HDV 820, which is capable of playing DSD256 files of up to 12.3 MHz and is powered by a high-quality ESS SABRE32 digital-to-analogue converter, completes the Sennheiser audiophile experience with dynamic range, ultra-low distortion and unmatched audio clarity.

Check out the HD 820 here (£1,999.00) and the HDV 820 here (£2,099.99)

HD 660S

The accurate and nuanced sound of the HD 660S will breathe life into every tone from even the most complex orchestral arrangement. The open dynamic headphones not only benefit from Sennheiser hand-paired transducers but also from light aluminium voice coils, which ensure the highest impulse fidelity. The elegantly engineered HD 660S is comfortable to wear thanks to the elliptical ear cups which are shaped to follow the anatomy of the ear, creating an immersive sound experience.

Designed with variety in mind these headphones offer across-the-board connectivity so you can enjoy supreme sound no matter how you want to listen. Rest assured, your listening experience is in the most capable hands with the uncompromising craftsmanship invested into the HD 660S.

Check out the HD 660S here (£429.99)

HD 560S

The love child of the Sennheiser HD 660S and Sennheiser HD 599, brings world class sound and comfort together in one headphone, at a compelling price point.

For the sound lovers who strive to find the truest sound, the HD 560S is the perfect entry level audiophile product for listeners looking for more. Every detail is revealed by the all-new 120 ohm transducer, which features a specialised polymer blend in its diaphragm for linear excursion and improved brilliance above 10 kHz ensures accuracy is delivered across the frequency spectrum.

The HD 560S are available here (£169.00)

A modern classic: HD 800 S

The HD 800 S produces stunning quality sound through the addition of the innovative absorber technology, which was pioneered in the Sennheiser IE 800 – a breakthrough that preserved the audibility of very high frequency sounds by eliminating a phenomenon known as the “masking effect”, where the human ear struggles to hear frequencies of sound when lower frequencies of a higher volume occur at the same time. The HD 800 S is a prime example of technology providing us with capabilities nature simply can’t, making these headphones the perfect super-human upgrade to your listening experience.

You can find the HD 800 S here (£1,399.99)
