The new headphones make sure you have enough battery life to boost your run
It’s only 19 days to the London Marathon, one of the greatest running challenges taken on by professionals, fitness freaks and first-timers alike. If you’re taking your run seriously you should be well into your training by now, but if you want to really drive your time down and you need some motivation try training to music.
Sennheiser’s CX SPORT headphones priced at £119 are the ideal companion for a gruelling training session. The sports headphones have a six-hour battery life, which can be fast charged via USB in just ten minutes to offer a further hour of playback, and fully charged in 1.5 hours. The ergonomic fins keep the earbuds comfortably secure and can either be worn around the neck or in front, with a cable organiser that adjusts the cable length and an optional clip that can be used to fix the CX SPORT on your workout shirt.
Our tip for a great session is to make sure you have a long playlist with a good variety of music - randomness in music has been linked to increases in dopamine. Predictability on a playlist can make songs you love seem mundane by reducing anticipation and create a rut so mix it up and pound that pavement for your best time yet.
