September 10, 2025
It was used for the first time its new Spectera wireless system in an alliance that had the German brand and LOTUS, the Chilean producer in charge of producing the festival.
The European audio company participated in the festival with the first wireless and digital-bidirectional broadband wireless ecosystem in the world, which launched in September last year.
In Lollapalooza Chile 2025, the 13th edition of one of the most emblematic and multitudinous festivals in the world, held in the Cerrillos Park in Santiago from 21 to 23 March, the German audio brand Sennheiser was present in this festival of American origin that takes its franchise to different countries.
The Cerrillos Park was attended by important international bands and solo artists, as well as Chilean music was also represented with its main groups on stage.
Attendees were able to enjoy the impressive Great Wheel, which made it possible to admire the city's landscape from above. In addition, a giant astronaut puppet was another of the visual attractions that accompanied the day.
This year's edition featured renowned international artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Rüfüs Du Sol, Justin Timberlake, Alanis Morissette, Tool and Shawn Mendes. Confirmed at the last minute, and with stunning performances, Eladio Carrión and Claudio Narea stood out, joining other renowned musicians such as Indios, Dante Spinetta, Elena Rose, L-Gante and Michael Kiwanuka.
"We are very happy with the feedback that the sound engineers have given us. This year we were able to do the frequency coordination with SoundBase, and the truth is that it has worked super well on all stages and with constant communication so that everything is fluid"
said Sebastian Alvarez, Sales Manager Sennheiser Latam.
In that line, Jazmin Serra, Trade Marketing Manager of Sennheiser Latam, said:
"This year marked a special milestone: on the main stage, we implemented for the first time our new SPECTERA system, taking live audio excellence to another level. Together with the Digital 6000, EW-DX microphone series and the 2000 IEM Series monitoring systems, we achieved a seamless integration to ensure the best sound quality in every performance."

Sennheiser, the century-old German firm, which in the 3 previous editions of the festival was the official microphone, presented Spectera, the world's first wireless and digital - bidirectional broadband ecosystem, which was launched in September last year and was used by several of the artists and sound engineers who were part of the event.
Spectera greatly reduces the complexity of the wireless system, while at the same time greatly increasing capacity, allowing time-saving workflows and offering full remote control and monitoring, including permanent spectrum sensing.
Javier Liberón, Sound and RF Technician, working for Olavarría Sonido, added.
"We managed to coordinate more than 1000 simultaneous frequencies during the festival, thanks to the integration between SoundBase and Sennheiser WSM software."
In addition, the innovation incorporates bidirectional bodypacks that manage digital signals EMI / IFB and microphone / line at the same time. It is also resistant to RF fading and allows flexible use of the wideband RF channel, for example for digital IEM with a latency of up to about 0.7 milliseconds.
"Spectera, which I met here, seems to me a beautiful novelty, the audio quality is incredible, there is a very interesting evolution compared to other equipment. I recommend it to everyone because it's an incredible solution for the audio engineer," said Abel Zamudio, a member of the team.
commented Abel Zamudio, Dante Spinetta's sound engineer, who, like other colleagues, was able to test the new system at the event.
In addition to the demos and implementation of Spectera, Sennheiser supported the festival, engineers, artists and rental companies through technical support on their own products, becoming a key link for one of the most emblematic musical events in recent years worldwide to enjoy and dance to thousands of spectators.
