This article explains the term "interoperability", an important prerequisite for successful collaboration within the Sennheiser Global Alliances

The Sennheiser Global Alliances are strategic partnerships with innovative, technology-driven companies and vendors that share a common goal – simplifying daily workflows. These alliances aim to provide customers with unique experiences for meetings and collaboration. The Global Alliances are founded on Sennheiser’s brand-agnostic approach, ensuring maximum flexibility for customers.

What are the benefits of interoperability?

By focusing on interoperability between systems and products from various manufacturers, users can take advantage of their preferred technologies without worrying about compatibility issues. This approach allows customers to benefit from the best features of each platform, leading to more efficient workflows within an open ecosystem.

Sennheiser guarantees this level of interoperability by providing proven and tested 3rd party modules to allow the easy integration of Sennheiser devices into other manufacturers' eco systems (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS etc.). Another approach to guarantee interoperability is the testing of partner solutions and an ongoing dialogue with customers in the development of new solutions to secure a common experience for users (e.g., camera tracking). Sennheiser also provides a well-documented 3rd party API. This gives everyone the opportunity to customize solutions according to their needs with their own platforms and hardware.
