Sennheiser's XSW-D series adds effortless wireless audio to your video

Marlow/London, January 29, 2019 –This February sees Sennheiser make its debut at BSC Expo and star of its stand will be the brand-new XS Wireless Digital series. XS Wireless Digital will provide videographers with an easy entry into wireless audio with audio specialist Sennheiser launching XS Wireless Digital, a wireless series that provides an easy entry into the world of wireless audio. Designed for DSLRs and video cameras alike, XSW-D enables wireless audio with a 2.4 GHz wireless link, which can be used worldwide without a license. Roam free with a range of four systems to choose from, or select à la carte from individual components.

XSW-D works in the globally available 2.4 GHz frequency spectrum and allows for up to 75 m (250 ft) of range.

  • includes the ME 2-II clip-on microphone, transmitter and receiver (both with 3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jacks), belt clip, cold-shoe mount, coiled cable (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack) and charging cable (USB-A to USB-C)

XSW-D Portable Interview Set:

  • includes a transmitter that plugs onto a dynamic handheld microphone (XLR-3F connector), a receiver with 3.5 mm (1/8”) mini-jack, belt clip, cold-shoe mount, coiled cable (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack) and charging cable (USB-A to USB-C)
    ​Please note that the microphone is not included in this set. This allows you to use an existing dynamic microphone or choose from Sennheiser’s wide range of wired dynamic microphones.

XSW-D Portable ENG Set

  • includes the ME 2-II clip-on microphone, two transmitter types (XLR-3F for dynamic handheld microphones and 3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack for clip-on mics), a receiver with 3.5 mm (1/8”) mini-jack, belt clip, cold-shoe mount, coiled cable (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack) and charging cable (USB-A to USB-C). Again, the dynamic microphone is not included, please chose your favorite model from the ample Sennheiser portfolio.

XSW-D Portable Base Set

  • includes a transmitter and a receiver (both with 3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jacks), belt clip, cold-shoe mount, coiled cable (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack) and charging cable (USB-A to USB-C). For use with an existing lavalier, or for choosing your favorite model from the Sennheiser portfolio.

 

Alternatively, you can design your own wireless system by combining these individually available XSW-D components and accessories:

  • Microphone transmitter for dynamic handheld microphones (XLR-3F connector), includes charging cable
  • Microphone transmitter for lavalier microphones (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack), includes charging cable
  • Camera receiver (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack), includes charging cable
  • Cold-shoe mount
  • Coiled cable (3.5 mm [1/8”] mini-jack) for connecting the receiver to the camera
  • Transmitter belt clip
