Connecting through sound: Partnerships that bring Audio to Life

Sennheiser at the Reeperbahn Festival and Amsterdam Dance Event 2025
Hamburg/Amsterdam, September 2025 – In a world where sound is everywhere, truly meaningful audio experiences stand out. They emerge where technology meets culture and community – on stages, in studios, and increasingly, in entirely new spaces.
In its 80th anniversary year, Sennheiser set out to create exactly those kinds of intentional moments together with partners who share a common vision: building the future of audio through innovation, creativity, and cultural exchange.
At the heart of this approach are partnerships that go beyond traditional brand presence. Instead, they create spaces where artists, engineers, and audiences come together to explore what sound can be.
Reeperbahn Festival: Beyond the Boundaries of Audio
During Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival, one of Europe’s most influential gatherings for music and culture, Sennheiser joined forces with Villa Viva and Viva con Agua to host a one-day, multi-format experience. Set in the vibrant environment of Villa Viva, the activation brought together discussion, hands-on exploration, and immersive listening.
The day opened with a panel exploring how authenticity in sound can be preserved in an increasingly complex audio landscape. Artists, producers, and Sennheiser experts shared perspectives on maintaining emotional depth through innovation.

Visitors moved between different immersive environments throughout the day. In studio workshops, they were invited behind the scenes of professional audio production, experiencing how 3D audio technologies and precision monitoring shape modern mixing and mastering. But the experience extended beyond the studio context. Inside the new smart #5, Sennheiser’s mobility solutions transformed the vehicle into a fully immersive listening space – illustrating how audio is increasingly expanding into everyday environments.
This seamless integration with Sennheiser, Mobility, AMBEO, and Neumann reflects a broader shift: sound is no longer confined to one place. It moves with us, adapts to context, and creates new forms of connection along the way.
HÖR x Sennheiser: Expanding the Experience to Global Communities
That same spirit of collaboration continued on an international stage. At the Amsterdam Dance Event, Sennheiser partnered with Berlin-based music platform HÖR to create a six-day pop-up experience dedicated to electronic music culture.
Known for its strong connection to the global DJ and underground scene, HÖR is a natural partner for Sennheiser. Together, the two brands created a space where live performance, digital streaming, and hands-on product experiences came together in an authentic and engaging way while strengthening the identity of both brands.
The activities featured daily DJ sets by both international and local artists, all using dedicated Sennheiser headphones during their performances. Emerging DJs were also invited via open calls to perform alongside established artists, giving new talent visibility within the global electronic music community. To celebrate Sennheiser’s 80th anniversary, the collaboration also included an exclusive co-branded merchandise collection available only during the pop-up.
The result was an open and collaborative environment where emerging talent, established artists, and audiences could connect and share the experience.

Building the Future of Audio – Together
Across these collaborations, one idea remains central: meaningful audio experiences emerge through exchange with artists, creators, partners, and audiences. Whether through live performances, digital communities, or collaborative product experiences, Sennheiser works closely with partners to explore new ways people connect through sound and how audio experiences continue to evolve.
Because the future of audio is not something we build alone. It’s something we create together.
