Sennheiser completes Supervisory Board with two new members

Iris Epple-Righi and Stephan Plenz join the team

Wedemark, January 15th, 2022 – The Supervisory Board of the Sennheiser Group is once again complete, thanks to the addition of two new members. Stephan Plenz has been a member of the Board since October 1st, 2021, while Iris Epple-Righi started in her new role on January 1st, 2022. Andreas Dornbracht, who took over as Chair of the Supervisory Board in March 2021 remains in this post. The new Supervisory Board thus consists of Andreas Dornbracht, Prof. Dr. Jörg Sennheiser, Johann Soder, Iris Epple-Righi and Stephan Plenz.

Iris Epple-Righi brings many years of experience in business management and merchandise management. She has held senior positions at Calvin Klein Europe, Escada Germany and Hugo Boss Ag Germany and currently serves as Member of Board of Directors, Member of Audit and Compensation Committees and Member and Chair of Nomination, Governance and Sustainability Committee for the software company Global-e Online Ltd. With her breadth of corporate management experience, she is an ideal addition to the newly composed Supervisory Board of the Sennheiser Group.

Stephan Plenz brings over 30 years’ experience in mechanical and plant engineering to his role as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Sennheiser Group. He held senior management positions for more than 20 years and, as a technical board director at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, was responsible for research and development, production, purchasing and logistics, and P&L worldwide. ​ Since the end of 2019, he has been working as a freelance consultant. Stephan Plenz strengthens the Sennheiser Supervisory Board as a prudent, reliable and innovative manager for complex tasks in an international environment. ​ ​
